GFITNESS IS BACK!

GFitness Rhodes is re-opening on Wednesday 1st July!!. We simply can’t wait to see you all again.

We also want to take this moment to thank everyone for all your constant support. Although under the current restrictions, things may be different for the first few weeks, we remain totally committed to keeping you fit, active, healthy and safe.

All members have been sent an email with full information on our re-opening.

MEMBER FAQS

When will my membership start, when will I be charged next?

All memberships will commence on the Wed 1st July. Debits will resume as per your normal billing cycle from Friday 3rd July, you may be charged a small pro rata to bring your account up to date.

There will be no charge for the first 2 days after we re-open, the first debit will be Friday 3rd July.

Members that were debited prior to our closure on Friday 20th of March will have a credit of membership sitting on their account towards their first payment.

If your billing details have changed since March 23rd please contact us to update your account to avoid any account rejections.

If you have an existing cancellation request in place or have requested a cancellation since March 20th we will be in contact with you to reconfirm your request and the 30 days notice period will be applied in accordance with your membership conditions, should you not hear from us please contact the club on admin.rhodes@gfitness.com.au

Our phone lines will be attended from Wednesday 1st July 10-5pm and these times will be in place for our first few weeks or email us at admin.rhodes@gfitness.com.au

When can I view timetable and book classes?

The Timetable will be able to be viewed on our website from Tuesday 30th June and will feature 25 of your favourite classes and instructors. More classes will be added in the coming weeks. Due to government restrictions our classes will be capped at 20 people per class.

Class spots will be available on a first in first served basis, 20 tickets will be given out per class – please see reception for your ticket.

What do I need to bring to class?

Please bring your own large towel, water bottle (water coolers will not be in use) and mat, particularly when attending Yoga and Pilates classes. Showers and lockers will be available. In addition to club sanitisation stations please bring your personal sanitizer.

What are the trading hours?

What areas of the gym are still closed?

All areas will be open with the exception of Spin Classes.

Entering our Clubs

As per the current NSW Government guidelines, you MUST maintain 1.5m social distancing at all times.

GFITNESS will have floor markers for members to ensure these requirements are adhered to.  

Please ensure you leave the Club immediately after your session to allow others to enter. On arrival, please avoid congregating in areas of the club or reception entry.

Exiting our Clubs

At the conclusion of your class, please exit the building immediately.

I am a Fitness Passport Member

Fitness Passport will re-activated their memberships on 1st July, they have advised that gyms can charge FP Members casual visits. We will offer 50% off this for FP members = $10 per visit. Class access will be limited the first few weeks, weights and cardio access is fine.

At GFITNESS, the safety of our members and staff is our number one priority.
We have implemented a range of protective measures in place. These include,

  • Your club has had a deep clean conducted by our cleaners prior to reopening
  • Social distancing to ensure a minimum of 1.5 metres between each individual whilst exercising
  • Spaced equipment to ensure 1.5m social distancing is maintained
  • Assisting health authorities by recommending you use the COVID-19 APP for contact tracing
  • Increased cleaning and sanitation, including providing hand sanitiser and disinfectant gym wipes using highest hospital grade disinfectant
  • Ensuring members bring a towel and their own water bottle. You may be asked to show your towel upon entry. 
  • Thorough cleaning of all equipment by staff throughout trade and between sessions
  • Equipment to be disinfected by members with disinfectant wipes after use
  • Staggered access to sessions and equipment to ensure cleaning is done in between sessions.

In addition, staff have all completed the CoVID-19 Safety Training Certificate and received additional training on cleaning and sanitation.
